A fully-guided morning tour around the beautiful southern region of The Lake District National Park following in the footsteps of its famous children’s author Beatrix Potter.Helen Beatrix Potter (28 July 1866 – 22 December 1943) was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist best known for her children's books featuring animals, such as those in The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

This tour takes in some beautiful Lake District countryside, houses, villages and attractions associated with the famous author. From the landscape and scenery that inspired her to the flora, and fauna, all of which she closely observed and painted.

NB: Clothing and Footwear:

Due to the nature of Lake District weather we strongly advise you wear comfortable light but warm layers of clothing and walking shoes/boots. We also recommend that you bring a waterproof jacket.

TOUR TYPE

The tour is a driver/guided sightseeing tour in your chosen standard/luxury vehicle. There are times apart from your lunch, coffee/tea, short breaks, cruise etc. where you will have the option of getting out of the vehicle and walking a few hundred metres to a view point and/or a point of interest.
