    Helen Beatrix Potter (1866-1943). English writer, illustrator, natural scientist and conservationist best known for her children’s books featuring Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck and many more. This tour of the Lake District countryside and rural life that inspired her, visits the homes and places she is associated with, including Hilltop, Hawkshead, Wray Castle, Tarn Hows and Coniston.

    Your tour visits Bowness for a short ferry across Lake Windermere before heading west to Claiffe Heights, Passing Hilltop you arrive at Hawkshead, ideal for cafes, English pubs and historic attractions. After a brief stop your tour continues with the amazing views at Red Bank near Grasmere. You continue up the ‘struggle’ to Kirkstone Pass then home via Windermere.

  • NORTHERN LAKES EXPERIENCE

    A spectacular tour of the Northern Lakes with beautiful scenery and attraction experiences. Travel to Keswick via Thirlmere water, passing the Helvelyn Mountain range and arrive at the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle. After a brief stop in Keswick visit Surprise View and travel along the Honister mountain pass to Buttermere Lake and Moss Force Waterfall before returning south via Dunmail Raise and Grasmere.
